What does it really take to become Norwegian? Find out at Norwegian-ing, an English-language stand-up comedy show in Tromsø that explores Norwegian culture, habits and everyday life through humour.

Join local and international comedians for a hilarious crash course in Norwegian culture. Through funny stories, cultural observations and a good dose of self-irony, you'll discover some of the traditions, quirks and everyday habits that make Norwegians who they are.

Expect plenty of laughs, relatable stories and at least one joke about the Norwegian weather. The show also includes an interactive audience Q&A, where you can ask the comedians everything you've always wanted to know about life in Norway. You might even leave with answers you won't find in a travel guide!

Whether you're visiting Tromsø or living in Norway, Norwegian-ing offers an entertaining introduction to Norwegian culture. You won't receive a Norwegian passport or guaranteed acceptance by Norwegians, but you might leave feeling slightly more Norwegian than when you arrived. Results not guaranteed!

What to expect:

• Arrive at Amtmandens and get comfortable before the show.
• Enjoy an hour of English-language stand-up comedy about Norwegian culture and everyday life.
• Take part in an interactive Q&A and ask the comedians your questions about Norway.
• Leave with a few laughs, some new insights and perhaps a slightly better understanding of Norwegians.
