This tour is conducted by Polar Adventures. Join us for an unforgettable Polar Whale Safari in Tromsø, available from November to mid January.
General information
Get up close with curious humpback and killer whales in their own territory and
experience the beautiful nature of the Arctic. Our experienced guides will pick you up in Tromsø city center and take you on a scenic boat trip to Skjervøy, where the adventure begins. During the whale watching safari, you'll have the chance to see other animals such as sea eagles and all sorts of birds. Whales are curious creatures and often come close to the boat to check out what's happening. Our guides know exactly what to look for and will make sure you get the best view and photo opportunities.
We start the tour at 8:00 in the morning to be the first boat in the area and spend more time with the whales than other boats. Don't worry about the cold - we provide insulated suits and hot drinks to keep you warm
Time of year tour runs: 1st of November - 31st of January (+-)
Meeting time and place: 7:40 am (07:40) outside Polar Adventures office, front pier, Killengreens gate 7-11
Departure time and place: 8.00 am (08:00) from Polar Adventures office, front pier, Killengreens gate 7-11
Included: Vegetarian soup with fresh bread ,coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, juice, snacks and biscuits ,thermal suits

Note that if we do not wait for guests who do not show on time, at 8 pm, the boat will leave the dock. Guest who does not show at time for the tour, will not be given a full or partial refund. We will however offer to reschedule for another day.

Our activities are though in the way that all even the youngest of the family can have a funny time in our activities by boat, get surprised by the animals that we might see and sit with the captain, why not!?!?
We also take care of our Planet as much as we can and encourage our guests to participate actively on our purpose.
We want to reduce how much garbage we generate by not using one use cups, spoons, etc. It is important to sort the garbage, so their usage cycle is not finished.
