About Wandering Owl
Wandering Owl is an Arctic-based tourism company offering all-inclusive small group activities year-round, with over 10 years of experience organising tours in the Tromsø region.
Our focus is on delivering high-quality, low-impact experiences that connect travellers with the Arctic wilderness in a meaningful and sustainable way. We are proud to be environmentally certified through the Travelife programme, reflecting our commitment to responsible tourism and minimising our impact on local ecosystems.
Our tours are open to everyone, whether you’re travelling solo, with friends, as a couple, or with family. They are generally suitable for children over 6 years old, though minimum age requirements may vary depending on the specific activity. We encourage guests to check individual tour details for age suitability and to evaluate the suitability of the activity for their child’s needs, as well as for the comfort of the group.
At the heart of everything we do is a mission to inspire care for and protection of our fragile natural environment. By guiding small groups and sharing our knowledge of the Arctic, we hope to spark a lasting appreciation for nature that inspires our guests to help protect the wilderness for generations to come.
