Experience a full-day journey through authentic Sámi culture and shamanic tradition in the Tromsø region.
General information
Guided by a practising Sámi shaman, participants actively engage in sacred rituals in a secluded, non-public location at Troll Havn. The day includes an introduction to Sámi cosmology, a shared drum journey, reflection and conversation, and the opportunity to craft a personal power object such as an amulet or medicine bag. A warm, locally sourced meal is included.

Troll Havn is partially accessible. There is easy access to selected outdoor areas and gathering spaces. Some activities take place in natural terrain and are not fully accessible for wheelchair users. Guests are encouraged to get in touch in advance for a more detailed assessment.

Troll Havn offers family-friendly experiences, primarily suited for children aged approximately 6 years and above. The activities are not suitable for very young children (0–3 years), as parts of the programme involve quiet settings, open fires, and ceremonial elements.
