About Troll Havn
Explore Sámi culture, Northern Norwegian folklore and storytelling with Troll Havn, with cultural and nature experiences in Tromsø and Vikran.
At Troll Havn, we share stories, traditions and folklore from Northern Norway through small and personal experiences. Our activities take place at two locations: Troll Museum in Tromsø city centre and Troll Havn in Vikran, around 30 km from Tromsø.
At Troll Museum, you can join shorter indoor experiences featuring Sámi storytelling, drumming and a coffee ceremony.
In Vikran, the experiences take you closer to nature. Here, we offer longer programmes in a fjord and mountain setting, combining storytelling around the fire, cultural elements and outdoor activities. Groups are kept small, and the programme varies depending on the experience you choose.
Full-day and weekend programmes at Troll Havn include a warm meal prepared with local and seasonal ingredients. Vegetarian options are available. Programmes at Troll Museum do not normally include a meal.
Accommodation is also available in apartments in Vikran.
