Sea Sauna, Arctic Bathing & Traditional Lunch

General information

Arctic bathing in the Norwegian Sea is a refreshing and memorable experience. Cold-water bathing has become increasingly popular in Norway, and for many it has become a year-round tradition. Combined with the warmth of a sauna, it offers a wonderful feeling of freshness, relaxation and connection with nature.

Our cosy wood-fired sauna is located right by the sea. After a refreshing dip in the Arctic water, you can step directly into the warmth and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The sauna has a large glass wall overlooking the fjord, offering beautiful views of the sea, mountains and changing Arctic landscape. You may even spot local wildlife along the shoreline while relaxing in the warmth.

After your sauna and sea bathing experience, you will return to the farm, where we serve a homemade traditional Norwegian lunch with dessert and coffee or tea.

During your visit, you are also welcome to meet the animals on the farm and experience the peaceful atmosphere of Yggdrasil Farmhotel.

Transportation:

Please note that transportation is not included in this experience.

Private transportation can be arranged from Tromsø city centre or Tromsø Airport. A minimum of two people is required.

Alternatively, regional bus 420 towards Hillesøy departs from Prostneset Bus and Ferry Terminal in Tromsø.
