Guided snowmobile safari in the Lyngen Alps
Join a local guide for a scenic snowmobile safari in the Lyngen Alps. This easy-paced experience is a comfortable way to discover Arctic landscapes, forests, fjords and snow-covered peaks.
The snowmobile safari follows established trails, and safety is the main priority throughout the experience. Several stops will be made along the route, giving you time to take photos, enjoy the scenery and experience the snow.
The snowmobile ride lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. The exact duration may vary depending on the weather, snow and trail conditions.
Safety briefing and driving requirements
Before the safari begins, the English-speaking guide will provide a thorough introduction to operating the snowmobile and explain the relevant safety procedures.
There are normally two guests per snowmobile. Guests may switch drivers during the safari, provided that both guests are at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence.
Guests under the age of 18 and guests without a valid driving licence may participate as passengers but are not permitted to drive.
The operator may adjust the route or duration of the snowmobile ride if weather, snow or trail conditions change.
Hot soup at the camp
After the snowmobile safari, you will return to the camp, where freshly prepared fish soup and a hot drink will be served.
