Snowshoeing & Arctic Sea Floating in the Lyngen Alps – From Nord-Lenangen

Transport to and from the meeting point in Nord-Lenangen is not included. Guests must arrange their own transportation.

Experience the winter landscape of Nord-Lenangen with a combination of a guided snowshoe hike and Arctic Sea floating, surrounded by the mountains, fjord and Arctic nature of Lyngen.

The tour starts at Lyngen Experience Activity Hub in Nord-Lenangen, where you meet your guide before setting off on snowshoes through the snow-covered winter landscape with views of the Lyngen Alps and the fjord.

After the snowshoe hike, you change into a thermal survival suit for the next part of the experience. Wearing the suit, you step into the Arctic Sea and float in the cold water surrounded by the mountain landscape of Lyngen.

After the floating experience, you return to shore, where a warm lunch is served before the tour concludes in Nord-Lenangen.

Minimum age to participate: 10 years

Duration: Approximately 3 hours and 25 minutes

Itinerary:

• 11:15 AM (11:15) – Meeting at Lyngen Experience Activity Hub
• 11:20 AM (11:20) – Introduction and start of the guided snowshoe hike
• 12:40 PM (12:40) – Introduction and start of the Arctic Sea floating experience
• 2:00 PM (14:00) – Return from the floating experience and lunch
• 2:40 PM (14:40) – End of the activity

The itinerary is tentative and may be adjusted depending on the group and weather conditions.

• The activity requires a minimum of 2 participants.
• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the activity will be cancelled 48 hours before the scheduled start time. You will be notified and receive a full refund.
