Tromsø Municipality is currently conducting a carrying capacity analysis and developing a new tourism strategy – and would like to hear from you.

Tromsø Municipality is in the process of developing a new tourism strategy. An important basis for this work is a capacity analysis that will map how tourism affects Tromsø in terms of social conditions, natural resources, climate and environment, infrastructure, economy, legal frameworks and visual impacts.

The aim is to obtain a comprehensive picture of where we encounter pressure and bottlenecks, and to develop measures that can strengthen the city's carrying capacity and contribute to more sustainable tourism.

Tromsø Municipality now wants to hear from you. Through the portal “Reiseliv i Tromsø”, everyone can contribute by marking on the map where they experience challenges related to tourism, or where they see good measures that should be built upon.
