About us

Thon Hotel Polar is centrally located in Tromsø, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and many of the city’s attractions. The Airport Express Coach stops approximately 100 metres from the hotel, while Tromsø Airport is around 4 km away.

The hotel has 132 rooms, ranging from compact single and double rooms to family rooms, superior rooms and business rooms. Room facilities vary by category, but include a TV, desk, fridge, hairdryer, tea-making facilities and a private bathroom with a shower. Selected upgraded rooms also include an espresso machine, bathrobes, slippers and a seating area.

Breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. The hotel is also directly connected to Egon Restaurant, which serves lunch, dinner and snacks. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby.
