Tromsø Golf Club

Tromsø Golf Club is home to the world’s northernmost 18-hole golf course, surrounded by Arctic nature with the Lyngen Alps as a backdrop.

About us

Tromsø Golf Club is located around 45 km from Tromsø, approximately a 45-minute drive from the city centre or Tromsø Airport. The club was established in 1996, and the 18-hole course opened in 2002. The course was designed by Swedish golf course architect Jan Sederholm.

During the summer, the long, bright nights make it possible to play golf under the midnight sun. The course is surrounded by Arctic landscapes, with mountains and the Lyngen Alps providing a scenic backdrop.

The club has a driving range and putting green where you can practise before your round. Complete golf sets are available for hire, including options for men, women and left-handed players. The club also has five golf carts available for hire.

The clubhouse has a café serving light refreshments, as well as a golf shop offering a range of golf equipment and clothing.

Booking

Tee times can be booked through GolfBox. Green fees are available for both 9 and 18 holes. Group bookings can also be arranged by contacting the club directly.
