Join a small-group whale safari by RIB from Skjervøy, north of Tromsø. The journey takes you into the Arctic winter fjords in search of whales in their natural habitat.
Depending on the season and conditions, you may encounter orcas, humpback whales, fin whales or sperm whales. Pilot whales have also been observed in the area. As these are wild animals moving freely through the fjords, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
The RIB carries a maximum of 12 guests, creating a personal experience with good opportunities to observe the surrounding landscape and wildlife. During the trip, you can enjoy the crisp sea air, Arctic winter light and views of the fjords around Skjervøy.
Animal welfare is central to the experience. The captain and crew observe the whales respectfully and avoid disturbing or pressuring the animals. A professional local guide accompanies the tour and helps ensure that the experience is conducted safely.
