Whale Watching - Fast and Comfortable Catamaran
1990 NOK
per person
Join an unforgettable whale watching tour from Tromsø and experience Arctic wildlife up close.
General information
This tour is operated by Helgøy Skyssbåt.
Sail to the whale-watching grounds near Skjervøy, one of the most important feeding areas for orcas and humpback whales in Northern Norway. Every winter, the whales gather here to follow the large herring migrations, creating a unique opportunity to observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat.
In addition to humpback whales and orcas, you may also spot fin whales and other marine wildlife. Combined with the distinctive Arctic light and the spectacular winter scenery, this creates a nature experience you are unlikely to forget.
The tour is operated with fast boats, allowing flexibility to adapt the route and seek out areas with the highest likelihood of whale sightings. This provides more time in the areas where the whales are feeding and increases the chances of memorable encounters.
The number of guests on board is limited to ensure plenty of space and a comfortable experience. Fewer guests mean better views, more room to move around and a more personal experience at sea.
On board, you will find a modern and refurbished vessel with a comfortable lounge, large panoramic windows and spacious outdoor viewing areas. Enjoy the scenery from the comfort of the cabin or step outside to experience the fresh Arctic air while keeping an eye out for whales.
Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available throughout the tour. The on-board kiosk also offers a selection of snacks and drinks, including vegetarian and vegan options.
The tour is suitable for couples, friends and families, with space for pushchairs and equipment. Children under 4 years travel free of charge. If you are continuing your journey after the tour, there is also ample luggage space on board.
Please note:
