Whale Watching in the Lyngen Alps – From Nord-Lenangen

Transport to and from the meeting point in Nord-Lenangen is not included. Guests must arrange their own transportation.

Join a whale watching adventure departing from Nord-Lenangen, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Lyngen Alps. Step aboard a comfortable boat and head out into Arctic waters in search of humpback whales, orcas and other marine wildlife.

During the cruise, the experienced crew will take you to areas where whales may be spotted, sharing their knowledge of these fascinating animals and the Arctic marine ecosystem. Keep your camera ready and enjoy the views of the sea and surrounding mountains. With a little luck, you might see whales surfacing or lifting their tail flukes before diving beneath the water.

A warm lunch featuring local flavours will be served on board. Take some time to relax and enjoy your meal while admiring the beautiful Arctic coastal scenery.

This experience combines whale watching with the impressive landscapes of the Lyngen Alps, offering an opportunity to explore Arctic nature from the sea.

Itinerary:
• 9:20 AM (09:20): Meeting time at the pier in Nord-Lenangen
• 9:30 AM (09:30): Boat departure
• During the cruise: Whale watching and warm lunch on board
• 2:30 PM (14:30): Expected return to the pier in Nord-Lenangen

Directions to the meeting point:
The meeting point is at Sandnesveien 38–22, 9068 Nord-Lenangen.

When you arrive at the location shown on the map, drive along the road between the apartments and the sea. Park in the designated parking area, then continue on foot along the path between the buildings and the waterfront. Turn left to reach the pier, where the captain will meet you.

• Whale sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
• The tour requires a minimum of 2 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, the tour will be cancelled 48 hours before the scheduled departure. Guests will be notified and receive a full refund.
