General information
This tour is operated by Destination Tromsø.
Travel from Tromsø to Camp Tamok in Tamok Valley for an evening of outdoor winter activities and the chance to see the Northern Lights. The journey takes approximately 90 minutes by bus.
On arrival, your guide will provide a thermal suit, boots and mittens before you head outside. Try tandem skiing, explore the snowy surroundings on snowshoes and take part in guided activities around the camp. You will also have the opportunity to meet the reindeer.
During the evening, you will learn some basic winter skills, including how to build and maintain a fire in cold conditions. Gather around the fire, grill a sausage and enjoy a hot drink.
