Discover the majestic mountains, stunning fjords, and arctic wildlife surrounding the spectacular island of Kvaløya.

General information

Throughout the trip, you’ll learn about the area’s history and wildlife. You’ll also get a chance to see the distinctive island of Håja, which inspired the design of the Arctic Cathedral in Tromsø. During the trips, we often visit the scenic areas around Ersfjord, Skamtind, and Sommarøya. If you like, you will also have the opportunity to try some fishing. A warm meal with local specialties is included, along with coffee and tea, as well as a traditional dessert from the area. Feel free to let us know what you wish to see and experience. The trip can be customized to suit you and your group.

The Different Seasons

Each season has its own unique charm. Winter brings snow-covered landscapes and magical winter light. Spring awakens nature, with longer, brighter days. Summer offers the midnight sun and vibrant wildlife, including puffins. Autumn showcases stunning colors in nature and breathtaking sunsets.

Wildlife

During the trips, we get to experience the local wildlife. Sea eagles and various marine birds are a common sight all year round. On most trips, we also spot porpoises, seals, and otters. If we’re really lucky, we might catch a glimpse of larger whale species. In the summer, thousands of marine birds nest in the area, including the charismatic puffins.

Photography

This is a fantastic experience for photography enthusiasts, as we get extremely close to the elements. Throughout the trip, we will take stunning photos, and we are always glad to share them with you afterward.

Transport to and from Tromsø city center can be arranged for an additional 4200 NOK.

Minimum age to participate: All ages. If your child requires a child seat, please contact us at least one week before departure.

Included: Skipper/guide, fishing equipment, flotation suits, boots, socks, hat, gloves, warm meal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and photos from the trip

We are a small adventure company with 20 years of experience in organising outdoor activities on Kvaløya and in the Tromsø area.


Over the years, we have developed and improved our tours, with an increasing focus on quality and personal service. Our experience and knowledge of the area help ensure memorable Arctic experiences.



During our tours, guests learn about the area, its history and wildlife. We provide high-quality clothing and all the necessary equipment. We also make an effort to visit good locations for photography, and any photos we take during the tour are included.



Since the beginning, we have focused on giving something back to our small community by involving local people and small businesses in what we do.
