General information

We offer comfortable accommodation, homemade food and relaxing experiences in beautiful Northern Norwegian surroundings. The buildings and interiors combine traditional elements with modern comfort, while the farm animals and surrounding nature create a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.

Nature begins right outside the door. In winter, you may experience the Northern Lights directly from the farm, while the surrounding mountains and coastline offer excellent hiking opportunities throughout the year. Guests can also enjoy scenic drives around Kvaløya, join guided snowshoe hikes or rent snowshoes and explore independently.

A visit to our wellness area is highly recommended. Relax in our private outdoor Jacuzzi with panoramic views, enjoy the warmth of a wood-fired sauna, or combine both experiences. Down by the sea, you can also enjoy our wood-fired sea sauna together with a refreshing dip in the Arctic water.

Yggdrasil Farmhotel accommodates up to 20 guests, allowing us to offer a personal and peaceful stay with a strong focus on hospitality and individual service.

Food is an important part of the experience at Yggdrasil. Our kitchen serves homemade Norwegian food inspired by Northern Norwegian traditions. We cook from scratch and use carefully selected Norwegian and local ingredients, including produce from the farm whenever possible.

Start your morning with breakfast in our cosy dining room with panoramic views. Enjoy homemade bread, fresh eggs from our free-range hens and a selection of carefully prepared breakfast dishes.

Our Farm Café is open from 11 AM (11:00) to 5 PM (17:00), and our restaurant is open from 7 PM (19:00) to 9 PM (21:00).
