About Authentic North
Authentic North offers nature-based experiences in Tromsø, with a focus on the Arctic environment, local culture and activities for different types of guests.
We are the original Arctic Floaters in Tromsø, offering a calm and different way to experience the Arctic landscape. Our experiences are about getting close to nature and taking the time to enjoy your surroundings.
We also offer a range of other activities, including food walks, reindeer experiences, reindeer sledding and encounters with Sámi culture. You can also join winter activities such as snowshoeing, ice fishing and snow cave building. Several of our activities are suitable for both adults and children.
We offer both scheduled tours and private, tailor-made experiences. Private Northern Lights tours are available on request. For private groups, we can also create experiences where local food plays a bigger part.
Accessibility
We do our best to adapt our activities to guests with different needs, including families with small children. Take a look at the activities designed specifically for children, which can also be enjoyed by adults.
Food
We primarily use local ingredients, and vegetarian options are available on request.
Sustainability
We are not eco-certified, but we are committed to keeping the environmental impact of our experiences low.
