About us

Bardus Bistro is a Northern Norwegian interpretation of the traditional bistros of southern Europe. The menu is rooted in the ingredients and culinary history of the north, while the style is informal and approachable.

Close relationships with local suppliers are central to the concept. Most ingredients come from Tromsø and the surrounding region, and the menu changes with the seasons and according to what is available. This means the dishes can vary throughout the year, combining familiar ingredients with new interpretations.

The menu includes both lunch and dinner, with fish, meat and plant-based dishes. Current examples range from fish of the day and klippfisk to falafel and seasonal desserts.

When the weather allows, guests can also be seated on the sheltered veranda.
