Dog Sledding Adventure - Small Group

Welcome to Into Nature, a remote place where you can experience the Arctic lifestyle together with us and our 28 lovely Alaskan Huskies.

We are located on the beautiful Malangen peninsula, offering stunning views of majestic mountain peaks, endless forests and the fjord all at the same time.

We focus on very small groups. By sharing this journey with only a few guests, a team of happy huskies and our guide, we can give you the best experience possible.

We want to introduce you to our dogs and share our lifestyle with you.

With us, you will experience the entire process of preparing the dogs for an adventure. We want to include you as part of the team and show you everything behind the scenes.

You will see the dogs running freely and warming up, have the chance to pet them and get to know them before the tour even begins. If you would like, you can also learn how to put a harness on the dogs yourself.

After introducing you to our four-legged family, we will teach you how to safely drive a sled.

Once everyone is ready, we set off for 1–2 hours of dog sledding. During the activity, you will be the musher and work together with the dogs as a team. Your travelling partner will sit on the sled, and you will switch positions halfway through the tour. If you are 2 or 3 people, it may also be possible to drive the dog team without a travelling partner if preferred.

After the journey, we head into a warm and traditional lavvu, heated by a fireplace, where we enjoy a traditional warm snack and hot drinks. During this time, we love sharing stories about Arctic life and our dogs, while also getting to know you better.

Arctic winter clothing and boots are provided by us, but we recommend wearing a wool base layer together with a wool jumper or fleece jacket. You must also bring a warm hat, scarf and gloves.
