Hellastua

Hella

Hella is a popular recreational area with beautiful views, interesting old houses and excellent fishing, thanks to the strong ocean current.

About us

The ocean current at Hella is the strongest the Hurtigruten sails through. Excellent fishing from the rocks. Old, restored houses moved from Tromsø. Open cafe at Hellastua in the summer. Fantastic view to the island of Ryøya in the current, and to the 1200m/4000ft high Bentsjordtindan mountains.
