Morning Husky Snowshoe Trip

General information

This tour is operated by Tromsø Villmarkssenter.

Travel from Tromsø to the wilderness centre, where you will receive a thermal suit, boots and snowshoeing equipment before heading out with your guide.

The snowshoe hike lasts approximately two hours and takes you through the winter landscape surrounding Tromsø Villmarkssenter. The exact route is chosen according to the weather conditions and the wishes of the group, and one or two huskies will join you on the hike.

If the weather allows, you will stop along the trail to enjoy homemade chocolate cake and a hot drink while taking in the surroundings. If conditions are less suitable, refreshments will instead be served around an open fire in the gamme after the hike.

Back at the centre, you will also have some time to meet the huskies before returning to Tromsø. Please note that this experience does not include dog sledding.

Minimum age: 13 years

Included:

• Approximately 2 hours of guided snowshoe hiking
• One or two huskies joining the hike
• Return transport from Tromsø, approximately 25–35 minutes each way
• Homemade chocolate cake and hot drinks
• Thermal suit and boots
• Snowshoeing equipment

Please bring: Sunglasses, gloves and a hat.
