Northern lights chase by minibus

This tour is conducted by Arctic Circle Tours Tromsø (Ami Hotel AS)

Meet at the meeting point, Skolegata 24 (Ami Hotel), 5.45 pm. The guide will meet you and offer you warm suit and boots if you need. Hot drinks are available and there are toilet facilities before the tour start.

If the group size is from 1 to 7 guest the minivan will be used otherwise the minibus is used.

Then the exciting journey starts into dark landscapes without light pollution, the trip goes through valleys, high mountains that plunge into fjords.
The warm and comfortable minibus is equipped with a heated tent with a camping toilet for your comfort, this is a game changer when the cold is biting and the trip has lasted hours. You can enjoy food and drinks without worries!
Our popular onboard sky camera displays the Northern Lights on a TV screen so you can reveal the Northern Lights with your own eyes during the tour. This make us aware of an Northern Lights outburst and we can start to search for a safe parking spot.

Free wi-fi during the entire trip, talk to friends with video calls or share photos on the trip.

The guide takes professional portraits and landscape photos, videos and timelapses during the entire trip that are sent to you in full resolution on the way home completely free of charge.

You can borrow solid tripods and get help with the settings on your phone or camera.

When you sit around the bonfire in comfortable chairs and enjoying the warmth from the fire, you can grill sausages, also vegan and vegetarian. From our serving table you can help yourself to get snacks and hot drinks, as well as locally made soups.
You will hear the science of the Northern Lights, myths, stories and video. You will learn how to interpret information in Northern Lights apps.

When we are back in Tromsø city center we can drop you off at your hotel or Airbnb. The tour end where we start, Skolegata 24 (Ami Hotel).

Included: English speaking guide, transport, warm clothes, hot chocolate, coffee, donuts, hot soup and hot sausages on a fire, help to take pictures with your own camera, portrait of you under the northern lights and landscape photos in full size.
Please bring: Your passport if there is a trip across the border to Finland. Hat, mittens and warm underwear. Camera or phone camera.
