Northern Lights Experience at a Farm

Here, you can experience real farm life with animals, food production, and simple, homemade farm meals served in the cosy farm café. Seasonal food and products from the farm are available for purchase.

The farm has its own pier and boat with fishing equipment that can be rented during the summer months. Its location also provides excellent opportunities to experience the Northern Lights without light pollution.

Accommodation is available on the farm and can be booked via Airbnb. Stays include access to a sauna, adding a relaxing touch to your visit.

Experiences on the Farm:

• Farm visit – Get to know the animals on the farm, take part in feeding and foraging activities.


• Horse riding – Enjoy a ride on safe Icelandic horses in the beautiful Northern Norwegian landscape near the farm.


• Northern Lights safari – Join a guided experience to see the Northern Lights in the surrounding area.


• Fishing boat rental – Rent a boat with equipment during the summer for a memorable fishing experience.


• Farm café – Enjoy simple farm meals made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The café can also be booked for private events for up to 20 people, with food and drinks served from a selected menu.

For all farm experiences, transport can be arranged to and from Tromsø for groups of up to 16 people. You can read more about transport options when booking your chosen experience.

Please note that the farm is not accessible for disabled visitors. It is particularly well-suited for families, with farm visits and interaction with animals being especially popular among young children (0–3 years).

The farm is certified organic by DEBIO. Vegetarian meals can be prepared on request, and most of the food served in the farm café is locally produced and seasonal.
