Arctic Whale Tours

About us

From November to January, we operate whale safaris from both Tromsø and Skjervøy — two unique starting points for exploring the Arctic fjords and witnessing humpback whales and orcas as they follow the great herring migration.

Who we are

Our mission is to create memorable days at sea that combine comfort, safety, and respect for wildlife. With experienced captains and passionate guides, we share in-depth knowledge about whales, the fragile marine ecosystem, and the coastal traditions of Northern Norway.

Our tours

•  From Tromsø: Sail aboard MS Alba, a spacious Westamaran catamaran with heated lounges, panoramic windows, and outdoor decks. A full-day adventure through Arctic fjords, including whale watching, hot drinks, and biscuits.
•  From Skjervøy: Step aboard RS 78 Hagbart Waage, a historic rescue vessel refitted for passenger comfort. This 2–3 hour safari offers authentic, close-to-nature encounters and the charm of a traditional Norwegian boat.

Our promise — the Whale Pass

Nature is never guaranteed, but our Whale Pass ensures your journey north is never wasted. If no whales, dolphins, or porpoises are seen during your tour, you are welcome to join another safari free of charge (subject to availability).

On board

• Hot coffee, tea, and biscuits are always included.
• Light meals and other refreshments may be available for purchase, depending on the tour.
• All tours include safety equipment and are suitable for families.
