About us
The Troll Museum in Tromsø is the first museum in Norway entirely dedicated to trolls and fairy tales. Here, you can learn about Norwegian folklore and mythology, and familiarize yourself with folk stories and traditions specific to Northern Norway.
The museum is your entrance point for stories about trolls, supernatural beings, and mythical creatures which have been a part of Norwegian folk tradition for generations. The exhibits feature both well-known and lesser-known stories from Norway and Northern Norway.
The Troll Museum is centrally located in Tromsø and provides both children and adults with a cozy museum experience. The museum is accessible to wheelchair users and has a lift, as well as seating areas.
