Winter holidays in Tromsø

Take a refreshing dip in the ocean by the Pust sauna or in Tromsøbadet, go skiing on top of the island or walk along the water to the southside of the island and Telegrafbukta. Expand your knowledge about Northern Norwegian culture and history in Perspektivet Museum or Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum, amongst others.  
If you are looking for more action, there’s plenty of magical mountains for ski touring across the Tromsø region, but also just outside the city. In Kvaløya, Lyngen and Senja you will find hundreds of mountains. Remember that the weather can change quickly, and it is not recommended to go ski touring without a guide if you are unexperienced. Go fishing on the open sea, dogsledding, reindeer sledding, get to know Arctic wildlife or go for a ride on snowmobiles.
