Tromsø Arctic Reindeer is run by the Oskal family, who have lived and worked with reindeer in the Tromsø region for generations.
About us
Tromsø Arctic Reindeer invites guests to learn about Sámi culture, history and reindeer-herding traditions. The Oskal family shares stories and knowledge from a way of life shaped by reindeer and the relationship between people, animals and nature.
During the tours, guests can spend time close to the reindeer, step inside a warm lavvu and experience traditional Sámi food, joik and storytelling. The content of each experience varies, so please check the individual tour page for full details.
