Charlottenlund – Year-round outdoor activities. In winter, you can have fun with toboggan runs, ski trails, ice skating rinks, ski jumps and barbecue areas while in summer you can enjoy trying the fitness equipment, frisbee golf, a football pitch, hiking trails, climbing racks, a skate track, sports court, campfire sites and a sand volleyball court.

Hike to Fløya (671m) via the Sherpatrappa – A great walk in the summer and one of the best places in the city to enjoy the beautiful midnight sun. Closer to autumn you might be able to see the Northern Lights from the upper cable car station. The Sherpatrappa (Sherpa steps) start at Lilleaksla 150m. The Sherpatrappa was built by Sherpas from Nepal and was completed in 2018. Sherpatrappa has over 1000 steps and goes up to the mountain plateau at the Cable Car (Storsteinen 421m). From Storsteinen you can follow the trail up towards Fløya.
