General information

Since 2006, we have offered day trips to our guests on our solid and cosy catamaran MB Havcruise. Norwegian skippers and crew with extensive knowledge and years of experience make this a safe, pleasant and memorable trip.

Our motto is: quality over quantity.

With a maximum of 12 guests per trip, we ensure a social and comfortable atmosphere. On our boat, you never need to fight for the view.

We can never guarantee whales, but so far we have seen them on almost 100% of our trips. The most common species are humpback whales and, of course, orcas. Whale watching is truly a unique experience everyone should try at least once.

The tour starts from the centre of Skjervøy. Along the way, you can enjoy breathtaking scenery dressed in a beautiful and colourful winter landscape.

You can travel to and from Skjervøy by express boat, Hurtigruten or bus. Tickets must be booked in advance by the guests themselves.If you choose either the Hurtigruten/Havila option or the speedboat connection, we recommend booking an overnight stay in Skjervøy.

We have great respect for nature and always follow national guidelines for whale watching. Snacks and hot drinks are served during the trip.

All our equipment and the boat are inspected annually at an authorised shipyard. All our passengers are fully insured on board.

Included: Guide, hot drinks, snacks, and ponchos/thermal suits available for loan if needed

Please bring: Warm clothing, mittens, shoes and a hat

Departure time and place: 10:00AM. Meeting point: By our red-and-white catamaran MB Havcruise in the harbour in Skjervøy. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure. We recommend locating the boat well in advance, as we unfortunately cannot wait more than 10 minutes
